I’m thoroughly excited. After some beers and lunch, a guy offered me a 1986 Honda Shadow 750 for $100. OKAY. So I went and got my janky mini truck and scooped it up because 1.) I don’t have my motorcycle endorsement and 2.) It leaks fuel from the gasket between the carburetor and intake plenum. But its starts and runs with no drama and everything on it works! I’m too excited to finally be on two wheels. By the way yes, that is the soon to be P-port twin-turbo 12A B2000 hauling away the Shadow. Everything about this picture is completely safe and legit.

If you got it running proper you could likely flip it for about a grand. A coworker bought a 80’s 1100 Kawasaki, the week after I bought mine, when we were working out of town. Paid $1300 I think.

Oh for sure. I’ll definitely use this as my starter bike and one day when it gets sold, a healthy profit will be easy to make. Or I could pay it forward and resale it for dirt cheap. We’ll see.
